Southern California Association for the Education of Young Children (SCAEYC)

For sixty-five years, the Southern California Association for the Education of Young Children has been in existence, helping to shape local and state-wide policy and practices in early childhood. With that in mind, the attendees of the 2003 SCAEYC Board/Affiliate retreat voted to continue SCAEYC as a regional support for professional development in whatever form we could. The Board of SCAEYC was charged by those voting members to create a format that our organization could continue to serve the LA and San Bernardino Counties. After completing the work of re-affiliation through CAEYC, we have begun to support our members including those from the East Valleys (formerly Whittier and Inland Valley), CELA and those from other affiliates in our area.
